I grew up in San Diego, CA, where I played football from a young age, progressing to college as a student-athlete and even a brief stint at the professional level. After a few years working in inside sales and financial services, I joined the Navy with the goal of becoming part of Naval Special Warfare. As a Naval Special Warfare candidate for nearly a year, I underwent rigorous training, adapting my body and mind to one of the most challenging training programs in the world. It wasn’t easy. I had to master new swimming techniques, overhaul my workout routines, and push my mental limits beyond anything I had imagined.
Football instilled in me a strong work ethic, which laid the foundation for my success in sales and finance. But ultimately, I realized I wanted more. Though my path to NSW didn’t pan out, I stayed in the Navy and used that time to reflect on my future and serve my country. It led me to my current passion: full-stack software engineering.
Now, as a software engineer from San Diego, I bring the same resilience, adaptability, and determination that I developed through my journey—from football fields to the Navy—to every project I work on. I’m ready to apply my life experience, hard work, and collaborative spirit to contribute to any team.
